???

These last few days I've been feeling a bit uninspired when it comes to blog content. My life is moving 100 miles an hour in all different directions which I keep meaning to share but feel sort of odd as I've always considered this a strictly "fashion/style" themed blog. But then again it is my blog so I guess I can do whatever the heck I want.

Secondly, am I the only person who feels like its necessary to shop 24/7 to be a good blogger? Not that I wouldn't MIND that ability, but I in no way have the funds necessary to be constantly adding to my wardrobe. These limitations push me to try more creative combination with the clothes I already have, but it feels like I'm breaking some secret blogger law when I repeat an item or two in an outfit post. It's like peer pressure the spend every dime I have on something new just so I can blog about it. In reality, I am most inspired by those who are able to take old pieces from their closet and give them new life or alter a thrift store find to fit their current style.

Now, with a clear conscience and an open mind I shall go forth and blog about what I want to. Sometimes you just need to let it all out in order to move forward.
Am I the only one who feels this way?

i am pressured too by trying to buy new stuff for my outfit posts but after reading other blogs, i am inspired how they still mix up their old pieces.. the first time i joined lookbook, i was constantly itching to buy new stuff but the funds aren't there. so this has pushed me to be resourceful and creative instead. :D

I totally understand what you mean! I don't own 30 shoes or whatever but I still love fashion and I really do admire bloggers who can take old pieces and give it a new life. Your style and opinions inspire me because your not all about designer labels. Style and fashion is not about how much you spend but how you flaunt it ;)

I started my blog out as a fashion blog, now it's morphing into my collection of inspiration and I think the focus is on photography. I just write what I like. Blog about whatever you want darling!!

I think you're right. I think it isn't necessary to buy 24/7 new clothes to show on your blog. As you already said, it's your blog, so you can decide what you would like to post. And if others don't like it then they just click away. There are a lot of bloggers who are interested in you blog, so don't worry! :D

No I agree with you! But it does make it harder to not shop as much when youre blogging, but there are plenty of amazing outfits with 'old'(I hate the term 'old')stuff that you can make in general, Ive been trying to lay off the shopping for a while HA! :P
Its good to let it out sometimes! x

I think when you start feeling pressure to do anything with blogging is takes away from the reason you started blogging in the first place. I've gone through this so many times before, but now I just blog when I want to or when I have something to say. It turned my blog from strictly fashion to more of a lifestyle blog, but it's all me and feels more real. :)

ahh yes!

i feel the same way about having the same item of clothing in more than one post unless it is a bag or shoes but i simply cant afford and definitely don't have time to shop 24/7 like i would like to.
