I'm alive!

Seriously, I did not mean to fall off the face of the earth, it just sort of happened. :/
A mix of extremely hectic scheduling and lack of inspiration made it really easy for me to get out of the habit and that just makes me sad, because in all reality I love my little piece of the internet. :)

Anyhow, here are so photos I took during a collage making session a few weeks ago. I decorated a notebook to write down ideas for posts and to help me blog more (HAH) and I was quite happy with the results. I have a good 50+ magazines sitting in my room to go through right now, all the way back to American Vogue from March of 08. Whoopsie!

It is amazing how a new day and a new outlook can make things seem different and exciting all over again. :)

Keira Knightley for Vogue Italia, January 2011

This editorial makes me love her even more then I already did. It's so unique to see an actress share an editorial with another model and have it work so seamlessly.

The Young and the Reckless...

I would realllly like to get my hands on the new issue of Love due out Monday, August 24th. It's second issue titled "New Blood" carries the theme of youth, featuring both well known and unheard-of talents (for the most part) under the age of 21.
What really intrigues me is who they specifically chose to feature. On one end of the spectrum there are some of the Disney/Teenybopper crew, Miley, the JoBros, and Taylor Swift. In the middle there are some edgier mainstream kids such as Kristen Stewart, Taylor Momsen, and the Willis sisters. Then you have the less-often-knows (in genereal audience terms)-Tavi of Style Rookie, Alegra Versace, and Alex Wang. This doesn't even begin to cover everyone included, but it does sound like an ideal cool kid/well styled school yearbook.
